Prevacid

Heartburn can be described as a burning sensation beneath the breastbone caused by irritation of the esophagus, as from regurgitation of the contents of the stomach. Excessive production of acid on your stomach can cause such conditions as ulcer, gastro esophageal reflux disease and similar conditions. Very often the disease appears to be latent and you discover it when it is too late.

Prevacid is an effective drug that works by lowering the amount of acid produced by your stomach and allowing it to heal. This drug is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid) and certain other conditions caused by the excessive production of acid.
